Designed specifically for major banks, Thaler on z/OS can handle the processing of extremely large volumes that involve a high number of users in real time as well as batch processing of account statements.
In operational tests involving actual end-to-end banking operations,Thaler on z/OS met the needs of a bank with more than 40 million customer accounts. The tests - which involved both batch processing and high, real-time volumes - showed the real-world value of the solution. The results demonstrate that Thaler on z/OS has cutting-edge characteristics. Native management of CICSplex and Parallel Sysplex modes - while maintaining total performance linearity, whether in mono-partition or Sysplex mode - is incorporated in Thaler on z/OS.
